CCUA Consultation Response: Civil Justice Council’s consultation on Pre-Action Protocols

As 2022 begins, we find ourselves in the midst of the latest review of pre-action protocols. Reading the Civil Justice Council’s interim report, many of the aspirations and ideas are clearly well intended and some should work well.

As “Enforcement Reform” returns to the agenda, it is important that it focusses on true reform and does not just become a case of centralisation, digitalisation and streamlining as seen before in other areas. The CCUA has therefore identified 3 priorities.
