HM Courts & Tribunals Service (HMCTS) CEO Nick Goodwin has published a letter entitled ‘Rebalancing our operational priorities’ which can be read here.

Civil Court Users Association (CCUA) Chair Rob Thompson, says:

“This update provides some much needed clarity on what is (or isn’t!) going to happen and when, which is appreciated. However, our Members will no doubt struggle to recognise the upbeat references to achievement, positive outcomes and continued success, when considering the current situation in the civil courts. The further delays and reduction in scope, particularly regarding enforcement, are disappointing.”
