The Government’s Insolvency Service has concluded its round of Personal Insolvency workshops. It aims to issue a written summary of its starting position in the next few months, which will provide the backdrop for any proposals for reform of the insolvency regime.

Civil Court Users Association (CCUA) Chair Rob Thompson says:

“Subject to any final submissions during the course of February 2025, we understand that the Insolvency Service’s Personal Insolvency Review workshops have now concluded. In the next few months, they aim to issue a written summary of the starting position of where the findings may lead, which will provide the backdrop for any proposals for reform of the insolvency regime.
