The Government is consulting on draft regulations to introduce a new statutory debt solution. A link to the Government’s consultation on the Statutory Debt Repayment Plan can be found here.
The Civil Court Users Association (CCUA) has drawn upon the views of the CCUA membership including those of it’s Policy and Reform Committee. CCUA Chair Rob Thompson made the following comment: “The proposals state that it fills a gap in the debt solutions available. Maybe, but we would suggest that it’s a fairly small gap”
